Perkins Road Hardware Property Set for Real Estate Development
Baton Rouge real estate development follows trend
The Perkins Road Hardware property has been sold, and the new owner, Donnie Jarreau Companies, has plans for its real estate development. The development of this area will follow a Baton Rouge real estate trend toward little urban districts that provide locals everything need within walking distance. The Advocate reports on what is likely to go into the Perkins Road Hardware property real estate development:
Chad Ortte, an agent for Donnie Jarreau Companies who brokered the deal and is helping develop the project, said Wednesday that two restaurants already have agreed to locate there. One is more casual, while the other is upscale, though he declined to identify them. He also is negotiating with a third restaurant.
The residential section will be a three-story condominium building with four or five units.
