Glen Davis Picked 35th in NBA Draft
Glen Davis picked by Seattle and traded to Boston
Glen
Davis will be leaving his Baton Rouge home for Boston come the start of the next
NBA season. Glen Davis has been almost essential to those living on Baton Rouge
real estate as they watched him develop his basketball career at LSU and achieve
status as a local hometown hero. While disappointed that he went in the second
round, rather than in the first round, Glen Davis
handled this NBA draft experience with his signature optimism and aplomb,
reports The Advocate:
life,” said Ari Fisher, Davis’ coach at U-High and a close friend. “This is a
great opportunity for him. He looks at it to go to one of the most storied
franchises in the history of the NBA and help them rebuild that
tradition.”
