Broadmoor Park Community Involvement

Residents of Baton Rouge community participate in Adopt-a-Tree program

Baton Rouge community participation is one of the things that makes living in Baton Rouge desirable. And now, reports The Advocate, the Broadmoor Park community is getting involved in a worthy project:

With the help of an Entergy grant and support from the city-parish, a
group of Broodmoor residents is kicking off an Adopt-a-Tree program for
the more than 100 live oaks in the median of Goodwood Boulevard east of
Airline Highway.

This is not the first Baton Rouge community to become involved with Adopt-a-Tree. Last year a successful program was launched in the Garden District.
