An organization works to help the Baton Rouge community

One thing Baton Rouge is known for is its ranging and diverse communities. But there is an organizations committed to help the wider Baton Rouge community by giving money to good causes.

The Baton Rouge Area Foundation is a nonprofit organization that brings needed services and changes to the Baton Rouge community. Here are some of the things the Baton Rouge Foundation has done, according to its Web site:

They have paid for thousands of initiatives, such as revival plans for downtown, a program to create experimental schools, poetry workshops, services for the abused, underwriting for the Shaw Center for the Arts.

Donors to the Baton Rouge Area Foundation know that their money will be used wisely to help the members of the greater Baton Rouge community.
