LSU Tigers #1 as Ohio State falls in AP college football rankings

The LSU Tigers are back at the #1 spot, regaining their spot in the AP college football poll, reports WAFB. The AP college football rankings just released show that LSU is ahead after pulling out some tought victories, followed by a demolition of Louisiana Tech on Saturday. Also helping the LSU top ranking: Ohio State’s upset loss to Illinois.

This makes LSU the first team to lose its #1 ranking and then regain it in the same season in five years (Miami did it in 2002).
