Les Miles Signs Extension of His Current Deal with LSU

Miles to coach Tigers at least through 2012

Even though Les Miles talked to his alma mater, Michigan, about possibly taking the open post, he decided to stay at LSU. Miles signed an extension of his 2006 contract, allowing him to coach the Tigers through 2010, and possibly beyond.

The pay conditions in the original contract will hold, reports the Times-Picayune, and Miles will receive bonuses for taking LSU to the college football title game against Ohio State.
