LSU Football Season Ticket Prices to Go Up

LSU football fans will pay more to attend games

With a BCS Championship under its belt, the LSU Board of Supervisors is supporting a plan to increase LSU football season ticket prices. Supporters of the plan insist that the local Baton Rouge market can support it, and point that other schools in the SEC conference — including Georgia, Tennessee and Florida — still cost more. The Advocate describes the new LSU football season ticket prices:

The LSU Board of Supervisors supported the plan — with only one
dissenting vote — for $5 price increases to the face value of each
ticket and incremental increases to the required Tradition Fund annual
“contributions” paid by most season ticket holders.

The
increases could raise the cost of season tickets by just $40 a year for
some to more than 100 percent for others with prime sideline seats.
