Pinnacle wants to add a casino to south Baton Rouge

In the hopes of swaying voters in a February 9 referendum Pinnacle Entertainment is spending rather large amounts of money to place campaign signs around Baton Rouge. The Advocate reports that Pinnacle is hoping to add a casino to south Baton Rouge real estate. However, before any casino can be built in a Louisiana parish, voters have to approve it. The campaign against the new Baton Rouge casino is fierce, and Pinnacle feels it needs to spend a great deal on larger signs to bring the vote its way.
