Banning Free Tickets for Louisiana Lawmakers?
Ban part of crack down on corruption in the state government
Right now, lobbyists can give Louisiana lawmakers free tickets to cultural and sporting events, including LSU Tigers football games. Under a new law, recently deferred, some would be prohibited from giving free tickets to Louisiana lawmakers. The Advocate reports on this effort to crack down on corruption in the state government:
