Baton Rouge schools offer average pay for teachers

Louisiana is part of what is known as the Southern Regional Education Board, which includes 16 states. One of the things the board does is figure out average pay, and rank states on their pay. And this year, for the first time, Louisiana teachers have achieved average pay in the SREB. The Advocate reports on this milestone:
