One of the biggest celebrations in Baton Rouge is St. Patrick’s Day. Even though Saturday was the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, today is likely to see plenty of green around Baton Rouge. The Advocate reports on some of Saturday’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities:
Leprechaun-themed floats abounded, including the Krewe of Cajun Leprechauns and the more perplexing “MexiChauns” float.
Bagpipers with the Celtic Society of Louisiana played their instruments while decked out in white tailcoats.
