Baton Rouge Real Estate Market: “Returning to ‘Very Normal’”

Baton Rouge could be returning to a buyer's market

Baton Rouge home sales have been slowing recently, reports the Advocate:

came in below their 2005 levels, indicating a cooling market and the
end of the post-Katrina housing bump.

Since many moved to Baton Rouge after Hurricane Katrina, the real estate market has been rather brisk. Now, though, home sales are returning to normal. This could be good news for buyers. This could mean that Baton Rouge will become a buyer’s market as things return to a more "normal" state.
