Today is Earth Day

Even though Baton Rouge held its big Earth Day celebration on Sunday, there is still plenty to do today in honor of Earth Day. Clean-ups and more are going on, and it is possible to do your part:

• Plant a tree
• Take the bus or carpool
• Get an energy audit of your home
• Change the most-used lights in your home to energy efficient bulbs
• Use SmartStrips for your appliances and electronics
  

There are many small ways that you can help the Earth today — and every day.
