Baton Rouge Real Estate News: Fate of Pointe Coupee Central High School Still in Doubt
No decision has been made yet concerning turning the school over to a charter organization
The non-profit group Advance Baton Rouge is seeking to take over responsibility for Pointe Coupee Central High School. However, the state Board of Elementary and Secondary Education is still unsure as to whether this is the right course. There are concerns about Advance Baton Rouge, but also a desire to turn things around at Pointe Coupee.
The idea is to try and turn things around in that area of Baton Rouge real estate by helping high school students stay in school and graduate on time.
