The Red Stick Farmers Market occurs every Saturday, year round, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Red Stick Farmers Market is located next to the Main Street Farmers Market at 501 Main Street in Baton Rouge. The market has over 50 vendors and has been in operation for nearly ten years.

Louisiana small family farmers and local artisans sell a variety of fresh fare. Fresh fruits and vegetables, Angus beef, poultry, farm fresh eggs, dairy products, fresh baked goods, fresh cut flowers, seasonal plants, native Louisiana wines, spices, sausage and cheese are just a few of the items available for sale.  Farmers markets allow people to eat healthy fresh food and meet the local farmers who produce them.
