The Shaw Group has committed to building a manufacturing plant in Baton Rouge, creating 1,400 jobs for Baton Rouge.  Job creation creates security in a troubled economy and helps to ensure that Baton Rouge’s current success will continue.  The plant will be 600,000 square-feet and will make structural, piping and equipment modules for Westinghouse’s nuclear power plants.
