Try Outs Are Being Held Oct. 5-6 For Aspiring Thespians in Baton Rouge LA

The annual play A Christmas Carol is getting ready for casting calls.  The Playmakers of Baton Rouge will be auditioning people for its 2008 production of A Christmas Carol beginning Sunday October 5th and continuing Monday October 6th at 10772 N. Harrell’s Ferry Road in the Reeves Shopping Center.  The play itself will run December 5th through December 14th at the Manship Theatre, as a co-production between the Playmakers of Baton Rouge and the Manship Theatre.

The Playmakers of Baton Rouge are looking for a variety of actors, ranging in age from 6 through adulthood.  Children will audition between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday and adults and teenagers (15 and up) will audition Sunday between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.  Callbacks will occur on Monday.  It is a good idea to call to schedule an audition.  For more information or to make an appointment for an audition call (225) 389-7246 or visit the Playmakers’ website at www.playmakers.net.
