Don’t miss the Greater Baton Rouge State Fair.  With rides, food, and great family entertainment, the fair has something for everyone.  Live music will include everything from funk to bluegrass.  New at this year’s fair is Mutton Bustin.  If you’ve never been to a rodeo and had the pleasure to see Mutton Bustin you can catch it at the State Fair, where daring children will don helmets and ride a sheep out of the chutes.  Whoever stays on the longest wins and it is a hoot.  Anyone under 48” gets into the fair for free and Admission for everyone over 48” is $5.  Proceeds from the fair will go to help local charities.
