The 29th Spanish Town Annual Mardi Gras Parade will kick off at noon with the theme of “Buy Yeaux Bailout”. The parade is meant to be a fun Mardi Gras celebration complete with a political theme this year and judges will be on hand to award a variety of awards from Best Float to Worst Float an everything in between. There will be an “Alcohol Free Family Zone” on the North side of Convention Street between 5th and 7th streets. Plenty of fun will be had by all so show up at catch up on the Baton Rouge Mardi Gras festivities in Spanish Town.
