And the average number of days on the market fell to 98 from 111 in February.”  The housing inventory in Baton Rouge is at a good level as are mortgage rates.  Gatreau went on to say “the median home price was up slightly from February and the best showing Since October.”  So, even though the number of home sales are down, real estate in Baton Rouge is on solid ground, with home values holding steady and inventory at stable levels.
