Baton Rouge Outlook Optimistic

Compared to many parts of the country Baton Rouge is faring quite well.  In February and March Real Estate values were actually up in Baton Rouge, a more than positive sign for a struggling economy.  Another bonus is that foreclosure rates remain lower than the majority of the country as well.  According to a recent article in the Advocate local banks want to keep loaning businesses and consumers money.  One banker in particular, Kyle Waters, is feeling rather positive about Baton Rouge and what his bank, Omni, can do for Baton Rouge.   According to the Advocate article, “Omni’s main focus in Baton Rouge will continue to be on loaning money to businesses but the bank also plans to diversify its portfolio by increasing its consumer lending,” a positive sign in a nation which is tightening its loan belt.

Baton Rouge is continually in the news for how well it is faring through these tough times.  If you are interested in learning more about Baton Rouge and the possibility of relocating to Baton Rouge contact Glenda Daughety and her Team today, (225) 205-2672.
