Baton Rouge LA is expected to gain thousands of jobs over the next 2 years

A study released Wednesday projects 9,500 new jobs being created in Baton Rouge LA over the next 2 years.  According to a report the 9,500 jobs Baton Rouge has to gain will be spread among a reopened paper mill in St. Francisville, a new chemical plant in Plaquemine and billions of dollars in construction projects as well as industrial expansion.  2010 is expected to bring 4,000 jobs while 2011 will bring 5,500.  The expectation of this job creation is indeed a positive for Baton Rouge.  Louisiana as a whole is expected to gain 35,800 new jobs over the next 2 years.
