A newly proposed pathway system for Downtown Baton Rouge LA displays the city’s interest in being user friendly. The Downtown Development District wants to see a 2.7 mile trail system implemented in Baton Rouge that would connect Memorial Stadium to City Park. The path would be for bicycles and pedestrians and would highlight areas of recreation as well as rail stations.

The Downtown Development District is dedicated to the city of Baton Rouge, to both its preservation and its progress. Getting around Baton Rouge is important to the city and the easier and more convenient it is to get around the better off the downtown area is.
