Volunteers have banded together once again in Baton Rouge to help those in need, for an annual trial that is trying for many, tax time. The group of volunteers that are set up to help people organize and file their taxes will do so until tax time arrives in mid-April. federal tax returns must be files by April 15th every year.
According to a recent article in Baton Rouge publication The Advocate, “The counselors also will handle the tax returns for low- and middle-income taxpayers.” Baton Rouge is full of people wiling to assist and tax time is no exception.
