Family Bike Day will take place this Sunday, April 10, in Baton Rouge LA.  The event will be led by Mayor Kip Holden and his family and will begin at 9 am.  The bike ride will be a three mile loop around Baton Rouge, starting at Brooks Park.  The Annual event is demonstrative of the Mayor’s commitment to keeping Baton Rouge healthy.

After the bike ride there will be food, health screenings, fun and entertainment in the park.  Unique to Family Bike Day this year is that it starts a two day bike festival in Baton Rouge.  The bike event is called Velo Louisiane.  Baton Rouge is a great city for bicycles and residents are committed to making the streets safer for two wheels.
