Recycling Christmas trees in Baton Rouge is easy. Recycling Christmas trees helps keep a great deal of waste from the landfills while helping to create mulch and compost that helps areas throughout the city with landscaping needs at the same time.

East Baton Rouge will start curbside tree pick up on January 7th but has already started recycling at drop-off locations. The drop-off location will be accepting trees from now through January 28th.

These locations include:

•Independence Park, 7500 Independence Blvd.
•Highland Road Park, 14024 Highland Road.
•Kathy Drive Park, enter off O’Neal Lane by Team Toyota.
•Flannery Road Park, 801 S. Flannery Road.
•Pecue Wood Recycling Facility, 9455 Pecue Lane.
•LSU, Skip Bertman Drive in the lot across from the School of Veterinary Medicine.
