Baton Rouge LA

Baton Rouge is committing to a healthier lifestyle in 2013. This year more money has been committed to make our city more bicycle friendly. Phase three of a program to expand bike paths is in the works, which is great news for cycling enthusiasts. The ability to ride a bike to work, school or run errands is not only good for the environment but good for your health as well.

In 2009 a program was launched to make Baton Rouge LA more biker friendly and since then the number of bike lanes and bike paths has tripled. In addition the city of Baton Rouge has made great strides in educating drivers about the importance of sharing the road with bicycles in an effort to make the roads safer for all. The hard work has not only paid off but continues to move forward, creating a healthier environment for resident of the greater Baton Rouge area.
