At 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 28th, come to the Manship Theatre at 100 Lafayette Street in Baton Rouge Louisiana, where “Aloha Y’all” will be taking place. The mission of “Aloha Y’all” is to raise funds for a wheelchair lift van for Gulf Coast Teaching Family Services (GCTFS). GCTFS is a Louisiana non-profit whose mission is to provide comprehensive human service programs for Louisiana citizens, children and adults, with various physical and mental challenges, including those labeled mentally retarded; developmentally disabled; brain injured; delinquent; emotionally disturbed; and mentally ill.
“Aloha Y’all” will feature Hawaii’s number one band, HAPA. HAPA is visiting Louisiana for the first time, bringing its Aloha spirit to a wonderful cause. LSU head baseball coach Paul Mainieri will be the evening’s host and cocktails and great food will be served before the concert.
