Baton Rouge Real Estate News: Residential Meets Downtown

Baton Rouge real estate moves to add residential real estate downtown

Baton Rouge is moving to update its downtown, working to revitalize it and redevelop it into the image of modern urbanity. And one way that Baton Rouge plans to do that is by adding residential real estate to downtown. Baton Rouge Business Report offers this:

“The residential component is essential to downtown redevelopment; it’s paramount,” says Davis Rhorer, director of the Downtown Development District. “We don’t have that right now.”

The magazine also continues to point out that Spanish Town and Beauregard Town will be beneficiaries of this downtown Baton Rouge real estate revitalization as well.
