Watch Tonight’s Lunar Eclipse

Total lunar eclipse visible in Baton Rouge

Tonight a total lunar eclipse will be visible in Baton Rouge. The best view will be at 9 p.m., for the total eclipse. A partial eclipse will begin at 7:45 p.m. The Advocate reports on how good the viewing conditions will be for tonight’s lunar eclipse:

“You can see it from your back yard,” said Bradley Schaefer, professor
of physics and astronomy at LSU. “This is one thing you can see
anywhere.”
