Baton Rouge Earth Day Celebration on Sunday

Parade and other Earth Day activities in Baton Rouge

This year’s Baton Rouge Earth Day celebration is taking place on Sunday the 20 (even though Earth Day isn’t until Tuesday the 22).

Earth Day activities in Baton Rouge include a parage that starts at noon, and live music and entertainment for the rest of the day (from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.).  Baton Rouge Earth Day festivities are part of the overall Louisiana Earth Day, which is the one of the country’s largest celebrations of the environment.

You can find out more about the Baton Rouge Earth Day celebration by visiting the city government Web site.
