President Bush Comes to Baton Rouge
Bush spends a few hours on Baton Rouge real estate
President Bush made a stop in Baton Rouge yesterday in order to stump for John Kennedy in his campaign against Mary Landrieu for the US Senate.
Bush made remarks at the Baton Rouge airport and attended a fundraiser, at which he raised $500,000 on behalf of Kennedy. The Advocate reports on Presiden Bush in Baton Rouge:
Bush was in town for about three hours, disrupting rush hour traffic to mingle with an invitation-only crowd at a mansion on Perkins Road east of Highland Road.
